Born and raised in Wellington City, capitol of New Zealand

I grew up with two brothers and a sister, the ultimate middle child

 
 

I went to kohanga reo at Pipitea Marae, Māori bi-lingual class at Thorndon School and then onto Kapiti Primary School.  I went on to Wellington High school where I excelled at Sports, Music and History. After high school I went to study Sound Engineering in Auckland before getting my Bachelor Degree in Māori Law and Philosophy from Te Wānanga ō Raukawa, Ōtaki.

I've worked in Retail Management, Customer Service, Sales and Merchandising, Events organisation and Sport refereeing.  

 
 

I have given various presentations at New Zealand tertiary institutions on Te Tiriti ō Waitangi, Māori cultural issues and Women studies.  And have also taught workshops throughout New Zealand.

I have taught international workshops in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland and Vanuatu.
